Since 1992, the 106 Group has integrated the cultural, historical, and natural resources that define a place into the planning and design process. By bringing together multidisciplinary teams that include resources specialists, planners, interpreters, and designers, we are able to reveal and tell stories in a way that increases the public's understanding and appreciation of the unique cultures and places that shape our communities and nation. If you have a vision to enhance a park or trail, develop a cultural tourism program, preserve or revitalize a historic district, or just better understand how your community is different from your neighbor's—we can help you.
We are proud to say that the 106 Group's work is truly unique and often transformative. We do more than preserve or interpret resources; we connect people to significant places by supporting preservation efforts and illuminating the stories and features that make each place and community unique. Our work inspires people in such a way that they feel part of the story and the landscape and desire to be caretakers and advocates of special places.
