Over the past fifteen years, Kristen has supervised and participated in numerous archaeological projects in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Vieques, Puerto Rico. Her work includes Phase I survey and Phase II testing projects in Ohio and Texas; Phase III data recovery in California, Connecticut, and Illinois; and Phase III archaeological mitigation of impacts at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and at cemeteries and tombs in Connecticut, Illinois, and Virginia. As a principal investigator, her responsibilities include management and supervision of field projects and personnel, analysis and interpretation of field data, and report writing and editing. Kristen has a wide range of skills and expertise including forensic anthropology, Phase I environmental site assessments, and NEPA documentation. Kristen meets the U.S. Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards in archaeology and history, and she is a historical archaeology specialist.
